Sure, I’ll give it a go. Here’s a quirky take:

Okay, so Survios, yeah, they’re doing this thing. Alien: Rogue Incursion is getting a makeover. Sort of like when you cut your own bangs and they look weird at first, but then grow into something you actually kinda like. Anyway — they’re calling it the ‘Evolved Edition’ for PC and PS5. Crazy, right?
So, remember when it first dropped on PSVR 2 and PC VR? Yeah, some folks were like, “Eh, it’s okay,” which I guess is better than “Ugh, it’s terrible.” But, get this, they patched it up, like those band-aids that finally make your blister stop hurting. They fiddled with how those creepy Xenomorphs behave so it’s not the same old jump scare on repeat. (Speaking of which, those things always make my heart jump. Just me?)
Now they’ve reimagined it for the regular screen crowd. Like, it’ll be on Steam and PlayStation Store on September 30th, 2025. If you’re as impatient as I am, set a reminder or something.
So here’s the deal: You’re following Zula Hendricks — oh, love that name, sounds like a rockstar — who used to be a Colonial Marine. She’s got this goal of exposing some shady stuff by Weyland-Yutani. You know, secret experiments or whatever. She’s not alone, thankfully, ‘cause she’s got Davis 01, a synth buddy. Together, they’re on this mission to planet Purdan, where you sneak around and shoot things. Honestly, sounds like my kinda weekend.
Oh, right, just like the VR version, this flat version is only ‘Part One’. They’re already working on Part Two, which means more baddies and tougher stuff to handle. I guess they want to keep us hanging, right?
Wondering when Part Two will hit? Yeah, me too. It’s like waiting for that sequel you didn’t know they were making but suddenly can’t live without. Are they gonna release it the same way as the VR version? No clue, but I hope they don’t keep us in suspense too long.
Anyway, VR to flatscreen isn’t new for Survios. They did this before with Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions back in 2021. They took Creed: Rise to Glory and gave it a whole new vibe. Arcade style. Nostalgic, right?
So yeah, lots to look forward to. Or at least to distract us from the fact that Tuesdays should really come with a warning label.

Hope this hits the spot!
