Sure thing. Here it goes:

You know, almost a year ago when Everafter Falls dropped, we kinda figured things would shake up. But man, we did NOT see all of this coming, especially after getting an earful from players. So today, boom, we hit everyone with this major update. And, oh boy, did it go places. Maybe I should rewind a bit. Yeah. Feels like I should introduce myself—I’m Joseph. Close friends call me Riv Otter, and I wrangle the community stuff at Akupara Games.
Now, Everafter Falls—our very first farming sim, right? We got hit with feedback from every corner. I was like a hawk on Discord, keeping tabs on what folks were saying, what they wanted. And yeah, I lurked on Steam forums too. Had to show the players we actually care. The game’s basically a one-man creation, so insight from players? Essential. Absolutely essential.
You know those completion-ist types, right? Turns out they were pulling their hair out trying to collect every little thing. Funny how the more hours they clocked in, the further away they seemed from grabbing that last item. Some were, like, trying hundreds of times. Seriously. So, with version 2.0, we tossed in two little helpers:
Golden Shroom Terrarium—guarantees you a new shroom. Epic Critter Terrarium—breeds only the bugs you haven’t found yet. Yeah, that should pretty much tackle their little issue.
And what about all those decorations? Who knew folks would dive headlong into decking out their farms, right? Positive feedback everywhere. This update splashes in a ton of new adornments. Players are already going wild with them. The creativity? Wow, just wow.
Quality of life requests, though. So many. People asking for conveniences, little tweaks. Like, we had this achievement—a goal to craft EVERYTHING. But tracking what you had done was, let’s just say, a nightmare. Enter version 2.0 with a blue star to highlight crafted items. No more spreadsheets, folks!
Look, there’s more in this update than I could spit out in one go. Player feedback really turned the wheels this time around. Feels pretty good to steer Everafter Falls 2.0 into existence.
Oh, before I forget—Everafter Falls is back on Xbox! Crazy how it just wraps you up, right? Like, you’re in this dreamy little world—forgotten neighbors, teleporting cats (yep, those exist). Sure, you gotta farm, sling that sword around, but really, doesn’t it just feel like where you’re supposed to be?
Catch you in the Falls. ✌️
