Wow, so there I was, scrolling through Kickstarter, half paying attention when—bam! I stumbled on this thing called “Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist.” Crazy, right? Anyway, they wrapped up their Kickstarter and guess what? They snagged over $170,000. Yeah, reality check time. That’s a ton of dough.
Okay, picture this: June 24th, I’m sitting with a cup of coffee, and the campaign just kicks off. And, no joke, in like 1.5 hours, they hit their minimum goal of $25,000. Were people just sitting there waiting to click “pledge”? Who knows. Then a week later—boom—crossed $100,000. Feels like I blinked and missed it. Stretch goals unlocked left and right: stuff like bonfire healing, new abilities, more species. Bet they had a checklist like a mile long.
Now, Eldramoor, it’s got some serious ambitions. I mean, multiple biomes, crafting, dungeons, player housing—everything including the kitchen sink. I read their blurb, something like, “Hey, wander off the beaten path, find cool stuff, meet folks, maybe loot a treasure or two.” Sounds like life goals, right?
And they’re big on social stuff too—guilds, PvP, you name it, they’ve got it. Makes me wish I had more gamer friends. Seriously though, the open-world bonfire thing? Sounds like it could either be a blast or a total mess. But, fingers crossed for the former.
So yeah, thinking about it, they must be eyeing more than just Kickstarter cash. Probably on the lookout for more funding to make the whole VRMMO dream come true. I heard they’re aiming to get this to folks by December 2026. I mean, take your time, right? Just hoping they pull it off.
If you’re curious, they’ve got the game’s info on Steam, plus all those backer updates on Kickstarter. Meanwhile, I need to stop procrastinating and choose a game myself—there goes another day.
