Marvel Rivals is shaking things up, I guess that’s one way to put it. So, on July 24, they’re rolling out some new stuff—like Fantastic Four skins and this fresh team-up thing. Why July 24? No clue. Just go with it. Anyway, NetEase, those folks behind the game, are also throwing a summer bash with swimsuit looks for the characters. Because, why not?
Now, why Fantastic Four? It’s all part of a tie-in with that new movie “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” hitting theaters on July 25. Perfect timing, right? Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, and Human Torch all get decked out in new skins around 7 PM PDT on the 24th. But don’t ask me about the prices—no word on that yet. Could be pricey, could be a steal.
And then there’s this bit—the update doesn’t need any downtime. Yeah, no server blackouts. You can dive right back in. One exciting thing is this Human Torch and The Thing team-up. Picture this: Human Torch picks up The Thing and flies him across the battlefield. Then, boom! The Thing slams down on enemies. Crushing, right? Sounds like they’re really turning up the heat.
Accessory Points, anybody? They’re upping the rate of earning these points just by finishing matches. Like, Quick Matches are giving out 15 points. Practice matches? 10 points. Handy, right? Especially if you’re a collector of in-game swag.
And then… anticipation builds for August 8, cause that’s when Season 3.5 hits. New hype is around Blade joining the game. Fans are psyched, looking forward to what’s next. It’s not just about content updates—it’s like peeking into the future. Excited? Meh, curious maybe.
Oh, and there’s a list of fixes brewin’ up, too. Psylocke’s costume now has its own background music—yeah, mutant vibes or something. Then there’s Spider-Man not getting tangled up in his own web anymore. What’s next? Phoenix’s character issues are getting ironed out. Black Widow’s moves are polished—no more glitches. Rocket Raccoon’s team revive got fixed too. It was a little off before—like, showing he revived more people than he actually did.
Funny stuff sometimes, all these technical bugs and whatnot. But hey, that’s gaming life. Cloak & Dagger had some teleportation mixups, but those are sorted. Even Jean as Phoenix is flying smoothly now.
So yeah, Marvel Rivals shakes things up, in its messy, wild way. Fun chaos, really, like watching a movie unfold—but in game form.
