Oh man, so here’s the scoop. XR Games just let BEATABLE fly free—no more early access on the Quest. It’s like, finally here with bells and whistles. Picture this: you’re banging your table to music, no clunky controllers, just your Quest 2. Wild, right? I mean, who thinks to use a table for VR vibes? Genius or just plain crazy? You decide.
Oh! And the update! Right as it stepped out of the early access shadow, they tossed in a bunch of new stuff. It feels like we blinked and boom—new songs, after that batch of five back in April or whenever that was. My brain’s still stuck on that.
Look at this picture (somewhere around here). Does it make you feel things, too? Yeah, me neither, but still.
They dropped a custom song and map editor. What?! You can now fool around with your own tracks, battle it out. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m buzzing just thinking about it. Oh, right—there’s 24 songs in total now. Half were there before. Some anime beats, if that’s your jam, and stuff from Mikee Goodman. Reminds me of SikTh days. Dang, nostalgia hit me hard.
Last time I played (early access days, mind you), getting the darn precision right was like threading a needle blindfolded. Somehow, it worked as a chill game. Fast forward, today’s update is like magic on steroids with spicy gesture detection and all sparkly visuals. Keeps you in rhythm, or so they claim.
Still not convinced? It’s hanging out in the Horizon Store for ten bucks. Grab it or don’t. Your call. All I know is it sounds like the beats just got a whole lot louder.
