Sure thing, here we go:

So, I wasn’t really expecting anything new for Elden Ring Nightreign this week, but surprise—there’s an update. No downtime this time, which is cool, but yeah, you gotta update if you wanna keep matchmaking smoothly. You know how it goes.
Anyway, Update 1.01.4 follows right after 1.01.3, which wasn’t too long ago, June-ish? But this one’s got fixes that really help out most players. I mean, it should, right? That’s the point.
And there’s this part—I found it oddly fascinating for some reason—the game now tells you the weapon type in the Armament Information menu. Why do I think this is neat? No idea, but it helps you figure out what weapon you’re holding. Handy if you’re like me and can’t decide which weapon to keep, especially with those buffs. Decisions, decisions.
Then there are these bug fixes that, let’s be honest, could’ve ruined your game if you ran into them. Like the annoying matchmaking glitch if teammates bail simultaneously. Ugh. Fixed now, thank goodness.
Also a nod to missing gestures and achievements. Yeah, you gotta go through the hoops again to get them unlocked. Patch notes didn’t mention it explicitly, but there’s this tweak for the Sentient Pest Nightlord—it’s all hinting at them being the next Everdark Sovereign. Gonna drop tomorrow, July 3, FYI.
By the way, Nightreign’s got these beastlier Nightlords now. Called them Everdark Sovereigns, only for those players who’ve beat their basic versions. Imagine Gaping Jaws and Darkdrift Knight with new moves. Just when you thought you had them figured out, right? Wrong.
Quick visual aside—saw Gnoster the Sentient Pest, and yeah, it looks like Pest 2.0 is coming soon. Pretty sure I’ll give it a try whether I’m ready or not.
Oh, right, here’s the changelog for 1.01.4:
– Weapon type now shows up in Armament menus.
– Fixed some matchmaking issue with teammates.
– Sorted out a glitch in the “It’s Raining!” gesture.
– Sorted revived characters during certain boss fights.
– Got background music behaving in Recluse Remembrance.
– Cleared up an achievement snag with “Shifting Earth: Crater.”
– And, some other stuff too.
