Alright, so check this out. I stumbled upon this fundraising gig for a VRMMO called Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist. And honestly? It’s kinda wild how quickly it took off. The thing crossed the $100,000 mark like it was nothing—and people don’t seem to be hitting the brakes anytime soon.
So here’s the backstory: They kicked things off on June 24th, and what they’re trying to do is bring back the vibes of this old-school VR MMO, Orbus VR, that kinda, um, vanished into thin air. A group called Resolute Games, made up of folks who used to play Orbus, is at the helm. Seriously, the buzz is real—just 90 minutes in, they’d hit their starter goal of $25,000. Which, I mean, feels like they set the bar pretty low for something this grand. But hey, who am I to judge?
Now, Lynn M. Souza, who’s the big cheese at Resolute, talked about aiming for these, um, goals similar to what Zenith did. Not sure if that makes sense, but seems like they thought an easy win might turn into a jackpot. Anyway, here we have all these plans for wacky stuff like magic tricks, swordplay, and making your own soup or something.
Oh, and wait till you hear this—they’ve got these extra targets, yeah? Think healing bonfires, some wild Earthy-Airy abilities, a new species you can play as, and you can crash at different player pads. I’m guessing the pets will do more than just look cute though—coming out to play at $125,000, and they’ll have these rad skills to help on quests.
Expected to drop on Quest 3 and SteamVR towards the end of 2026. And yeah, the campaign’s wrapping up on July 24th. So, there’s time for more folks to jump on this hype train. Wanna know more? Check out their Kickstarter shenanigans. You do you.
