DodgeCraft is now available on Quest and PlayStation VR2, inviting players to put their reflexes to the test with a fresh VR sports training experience. This intriguing game comes from INCISIV Ltd, a creative studio based in Belfast, known for their previous work on CleanSheet Soccer. DodgeCraft is designed to blend fast-paced gameplay with strategic deception, challenging your agility and quick decision-making skills. You can catch a glimpse of its thrilling action right below.
At launch, DodgeCraft offers two exciting gameplay modes. The first, called ‘Dodge’Em,’ is all about full-body engagement, where you dodge incoming meteorites while navigating through a perilous asteroid belt. It’s a workout that really gets you moving! The second mode, ‘Run the Gauntlet,’ pits you against waves of bots and humanoid opponents, each using cunning strategies to outmaneuver you. It even includes the innovative feature of mixed reality support.
In a detailed statement, Professor Cathy Craig, CEO of INCISIV, revealed that her own sporty struggles were the inspiration behind DodgeCraft. As a former Ulster Rugby out-half, Craig acknowledges the challenges she faced in making solid tackles.
“As a player, I often hesitated to commit to the tackle. DodgeCraft allows players to learn how to predict and react firmly as defenders without fearing injury. Essentially, it’s a chance to train without enduring the physical pain!” she remarked.
For those eager to dive into this innovative experience, DodgeCraft is now available on the Meta Quest platform as well as PlayStation VR2.
