Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are rolling out the red carpet for Squid Game Season 2, unveiling a host of fresh content. Gamers can dive into an array of new rewards and experience special game modes inspired by the runaway Netflix sensation.
Call of Duty’s Big Squid Game Celebration
The much-anticipated crossover between Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, and the thrilling universe of Squid Game, is officially underway. But before you can indulge in these new themed delights, PlayStation users will need to download a 2.6 GB update. Once that’s done, you’re all set to chase those themed rewards and dive into the exclusive modes available for a short time.
Lighting up the excitement are five temporary game modes, each dripping with Squid Game flair:
- Red Light, Green Light (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer)
- Pentathlon (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer)
- Squid Game Moshpit (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Multiplayer)
- Dead Light, Green Light (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies)
- Squid Game (Call of Duty: Warzone)
By earning XP across Warzone, Multiplayer, or Zombies, players can unlock Squid Game-themed rewards through the Event Pass. You’ll start off on the free track, which includes some enticing goodies like the Player 006 Operator Skin, unlocked right away. For those willing to spend 1100 CoD Points, the premium track offers exclusive extras such as weapon blueprints, a unique gun skin, and the Front Man Operator.
In addition, there are special Squid Game Tracer Packs up for grabs, each featuring themed Operator Skins and weapon blueprints. Look out for the Pink Guards Tracer Pack, The VIPs Tracer Pack, and the Young-hee Tracer Pack.
This limited-time Squid Game event will keep going until January 24, 2025, wrapping up at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT, so you’ve got plenty of time to get in on the fun.
