HoYoverse couldn’t miss out on celebrating again, so they’re dropping another chunky update — or well, they’re telling us about it today, but we gotta wait until July 16. Anticipation is part of the fun, isn’t it?
This update, they’re calling it The Impending Crash of Waves, dives into some new waters with a fresh faction and two areas to explore. Ever heard of Spook Shack? Yeah, it fits right in with the splishy-splashy theme along with Sailume Bay and Fantasy Resort. Sounds pretty beachy, huh? Makes me think of sunburns and piña coladas or something.
Kickoff for Season 2 Chapter 2 (who comes up with these names?) goes down at Sailume Bay. That’s like the main stage. Then there’s Fantasy Resort, where summer will bring its own stories and sandy drama.
New Agents! Ukinami Yuzuha — she’s got some S-Rank Physical Support magic, employing a sidekick named Kama. And get this, Kama hurls candy bombs. Sweet tooth on a battlefield, anyone? Then Alice Thymefield joins the crew with her sword-swinging, anomaly-hacking gig. All that finesse leads to some powerful moves. Really, it’s like a dance, but with more risk of decapitation.
