Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone fans can look forward to a fresh set of updates arriving on February 11. These updates aim to refine gameplay with a range of tweaks and bug squashes. Just two weeks have passed since the launch of Season 2 for both games, which rolled out vast gameplay enhancements and an array of new content including exciting multiplayer maps, weapons, perks, and more.

The launch of Season 2 was a paradise for Multiplayer and Zombies enthusiasts. However, Warzone’s offerings left much to be desired. With numbers dropping on Steam and influential streamers expressing disappointment with the game’s state, Activision has been quite vocal about shifting focus to address bug-related issues for Season 2. Their game plan emphasizes tuning gameplay, refining the user experience, and tackling bugs, meaning Warzone received less content than fans had initially hoped for in this season. But don’t fret, as even this small update signifies the developers’ dedication to elevating Warzone’s standards.

This latest patch for Black Ops 6 and Warzone introduces several small tweaks aimed at boosting the gameplay experience. The official patch notes, nestled further in this article, delve into specific fixes. For Black Ops 6, the update enhances stability within the Zombies mode and rectifies an issue in Multiplayer’s Gunsmith, which was causing problems with weapon blueprint equipping for the XMG. On the competitive side, Black Ops 6 Ranked Play has seen the addition of restrictions, now blocking the KSV and PPSh-41 SMGs, as well as the Cypher 091 Assault Rifle.

Warzone’s February 11 update also brings additional limitations. Players will find the Experimental Gas Grenade removed from Ranked Play, alongside a fix for demotion protection to ensure players are not inadvertently moved down ranks in the competitive mode. The list of issues doesn’t stop there, as a number of collision exploits on Urzikstan have been closed off, squad self-revive indicators have been fixed, buying glitches at Buy Stations have been sorted, and failures in carrying over legacy achievements into the next season have been addressed.

Recently, Treyarch Studios announced the extension of the Double XP event for Black Ops 6 and Warzone. While no official explanation was provided, players speculate this was in response to the PSN outage that saw service unavailable from February 7-8. This unforeseen downtime, which remains unexplained by Sony, left users unable to access games, the store, their friends’ lists, and more for roughly a day.
