Man, I don’t know why I’m writing this instead of, I dunno, chasing my cat around the house, but here we go. The Fighters Guild, right? In Oblivion—yeah, Oblivion. Remember that game? It’s like one of those old favorite blankets that still fits in all the right ways. Anyway, these questlines… the Fighters Guild is one of the few where you can swing a big ol’ hammer and nobody bats an eye. Like, shout out to that Gogron gro-Bolmog dude for busting out of stereotypes.
So, get this: some modder, ColdTyrant (cool name, right?), just dropped this mod. Picture this: a radiant contract system for Dark Brotherhood. Yeah, you can just keep whacking folks forever and maybe get some surprises along the way. Then, not too long after, BAM! Another update. It’s like, woah, didn’t see that coming.
Oh, wait a second. I got sidetracked—let’s get back to the Fighters Guild. This new installment—’Fighter’s Guild – Infinitum’—throws over a hundred random monster contracts at you. No joke, you’re this bounty hunter but for beasts. Forget sitting in some regular 9-to-5, now you’re diving into dungeons to clear out glowing critters.
But, hold up, don’t expect some fancy loot boxes like the other mod. You’re walking away with 500 gold and some Fighter’s Commendations. Ever think currency would ever sound that epic? There’s a whole new store too, like right underneath the Leyawiin chapter. So, gold and some shiny weapons—kinda like the Witcher but in a dimension where everyone’s face looks hilariously bizarre.
ColdTyrant, the brains behind this, even sprinkles in a little extra. You can chill on the top floor of the guild hall if you like the view or something. Guess it’s harder to complain when you’re ruling the roost.
And if you’re itching to try it out—make sure you’ve got those Oblivion Remastered extras, though, or you’ll be like me trying to fix a leaking sink without a wrench. Oh, and there’s a rumor. ColdTyrant’s hinting at more mods; Imperial City’s Arena might get a makeover next. Who knows?
Next time you wander into the Fighters Guild, say hey to Modryn Oreyn for me. And stick around—you never know what other wild modding adventures await.
