I’m pretty sure the game’s almost ready—Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Ever heard of it? Me neither until recently. Anyway, it’s another one of those Soulslike games, but with a twist. And this time, it’s coming from a Chinese developer called Leenzee. Yeah, they’re dropping this Ming Dynasty action RPG on us.
So, apparently, every time people get a sneak peek, they’re like, “Wow, this is cool!” or something along those lines. We’re so close to the launch that I can almost smell it, or maybe that’s just my coffee. Either way, they finally spilled the beans on some final details, which is always exciting—or nerve-wracking, take your pick.
Okay, so mark your calendars—July 24. That’s the D-day for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. It’s also a day-one Game Pass thing for PC and Xbox; pretty neat, right? But up until now, nobody really knew what ancient piece of tech you’d need if you want your PC to run this baby smoothly.
Wuchang looks good—like, genuinely nice. But, unlike another Chinese action RPG, Black Myth: Wukong, it doesn’t stress out your hardware. Thank goodness, since my PC already sounds like a lawnmower. Today, they showed off the full PC specs. And yep, they’re quite humble.
So, they dropped two sets of specs—minimum and recommended. Yeah, big words. But frustratingly, they didn’t mention the framerate and resolution targets, which is a shame. Both got tested with some fancy tech (DLSS/FSR), which, to be honest, I always forget what they do exactly. Anyway, here’s what you need to know:
### Minimum Specs
– OS: Windows 10 64bit. The usual, nothing fancy.
– CPU: Intel Core i5-8400/AMD Ryzen 5 1600. Oldies but goldies?
– RAM: 16GB RAM (dual channel if possible). Someone explain RAM to me again.
– GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB. Yeah, those.
– DirectX: 12. Because, why not?
– Storage: 60GB. Not sure if that’s a lot these days.
– Additional Notes: HDD Supported, SSD Recommended. Let’s be honest, who’s still on HDD?
### Recommended Specs
– OS: Windows 10/11 64bit. Upgraded, nice.
– CPU: Intel Core i7-9700/AMD Ryzen 5 5500. Sounds powerful, right?
– RAM: 16GB RAM (dual channel recommended). Okay, I get it, RAM is important.
– GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070/AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT/Intel Arc A750. That Intel one’s a curveball.
– DirectX: 12. Consistency is key.
– Storage: 60GB. Again, manageable.
– Additional Notes: SSD Required. Ah, here we go—time to upgrade.
Alright, so the launch times? Here we go, scatterbrain style:
