Alright, so, get this. There’s a movie everyone’s buzzing about – it’s supposed to be the big deal for the summer. The Marvel world is smashing into Monopoly Go. I mean, I didn’t see that coming. Marvel’s partnering up with Scopely for this huge thing. We’re talking The Fantastic Four: First Steps making its way into the game. I know, right? Sounds wild.
So, the whole shindig starts on Sunday, July 13. Mark your calendars or whatever. And yeah, this isn’t Marvel’s first rodeo. They pulled off another event last September, but who’s keeping track? Probably someone, not me.
Anyway — oh wait, was I saying something important? Right. The Fantastic Four — Marvel’s First Family, or so they say — are landing in Monopoly Go. They’re bringing all sorts of cool stuff, collectibles or whatever. Think portals opening up or something—Marvel multiverse vibes. Like a gateway to somewhere.
The place turns upside down once they step in. What’s in it? Let’s break it down. First, there’s this Fantastic Racers thing where the four are driving these old-school Fantasti-Cars. Imagine their robot buddy Herbie cheering them on, and oh, Dr. Doom’s there messing things up. Classic.
Then there’s the Fantastic Partners Event. You team up with others, which sounds kinda fun if you’re into that, collecting these coins, bringing icons like Invisible Woman and Human Torch to life. Honestly, I kinda vibe with The Thing.
Oh! Almost forgot. There’s Reed’s lab with crazy stuff like the Ultimate Nullifier and Silver Surfer’s board; sounds dope and a bit dangerous.
And there’s a Deluxe Drop. Basically, a bunch of cool gear themed around the Fantastic Four for players. Shields and tokens, too. Keepsake kinda stuff.
There’s also some other event wrapping up, something Aqua-themed, but if you’re into those Monopoly Go Dice Links — seriously, you should check them out — you probably already know all about that.
So that’s the scoop. If you’re still here, and I didn’t completely lose you midway through — hey, check out that Monopoly game. It’s got Marvel in it now.
