I’m on it. Here’s your article, stirred up a bit:
Okay, so… big news today in Honkai: Star Rail land. Yeah, you heard right—this free-to-play RPG is diving headfirst into a mashup with Fate/stay night. Kind of nuts, right? I mean, it’s like when you mix your cereal flavors just for the heck of it.
Anyway, patch 3.4 dropped last week, bringing a bunch of extras besides, well, the whole Fate thing. We totally knew what was coming anyway. Spoilers were everywhere thanks to that dev livestream in June. Not that I was paying super close attention or anything.
So, no worries about missing out! This collab isn’t disappearing too soon—rumor has it hanging around till November, or maybe even later. While details are always jumping around, you gotta love the internet for that.
Character drop alert: Saber, 5-Star Wind/Destruction hero. Like a tornado with a purpose. Archer, on the other hand, rolls in as a Quantum/Hunt option. Archer’s a freebie if you log in during the collab, but Saber? Got to try your luck. Archer even comes prepped to level 60. Handy.
I should mention—this whole scene about the banners. Four of them, no less. But strangely, no extra love for 4-star characters or weapons there. Typical, huh? But hey, after 200 warps, you can grab Saber’s light cone.
Oh, side note: those Fate characters? No English voiceovers, it turns out. Makes you think since MiHoYo seems a bit grumpy about their American voice actors and the SAG-AFTRA strike. Go figure.
Slide on over to new stuff like Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail (is there a better title?). And get this, a 30-day event full of combat challenges running till August 11. Exclusive rewards and all. Miss it? No problem, it’ll pop up in the Conventional Memoir—some rewards might just vanish though.
Almost forgot! Phainon is joining the roster now, a 5-Star Physical/Destruction hero. Cool to have a familiar NPC suddenly playable, right?
Let’s backtrack a sec… the reruns with update 3.4. Phase 1 brought Tribbie, Sunday, Sparkle. Phase 2 kicks off July 23 with Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade. Firefly’s getting a snazzy new outfit too. Jingliu’s rerun couldn’t be better timed given her upgraded kit along with Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade. Improvements galore!
I might’ve left something out, but hey, that’s life, right?
