May the 4th, the Star Wars day, really gave it a boost. Or was it the buzz around Andor Season 2? A flurry of fans wanted more, calling for a sequel like kids in a candy store. Now? It’s surging, player numbers flying higher than a TIE fighter.
I stumbled upon some nerdy data from SteamDB. So, Battlefront 2 went from a cozy 10-15,000 players just chillin’ to a wild 30-35,000. Who would’ve thought? Oh, and Sunday was a record day—35,892 players. That’s like, double, right? Gotta say, the $3.99 price tag during EA’s Summer Sale might’ve had something to do with it.
