So, get this. Life sim inZOI is about to roll out its first DLC. It’s called Island Getaway. Funny thing, Krafton just decided to spill the beans today. Guess they couldn’t keep it under wraps. Anyway, if you own the game, good news: this add-on is absolutely free. Awful good deal, right?
Oh, and it’s finally coming out on Mac too. Was about time, honestly.
Okay, so mark August 20 on your calendar, ’cause that’s when Island Getaway is dropping. But here’s a twist: they’re teasing it at gamescom on August 19. I was so sure it’d just pop up right after the show. But nah, Krafton decided to wreck the surprise early. Classic.
So, what’s the deal with Island Getaway? It’s bringing a new map, Cahaya, which is basically two islands all inspired by Southeast Asia. You can swim, snorkel, all that fun stuff. And farming – well, kind of random but hey, if that’s your thing. Oh, and don’t forget the outfits. Tropical style galore.

And there’s more coming with the update. Farming, fishing – the whole shebang, across every map. Get this, you’ve got electric scooters and motorcycles to zip around now. Awesome?
Then they’ve thrown in these new character interaction things. Random gatherings – like, you’re just wandering and boom, social scenario. “Cooperative actions” too. Sounds like they’re trying to jazz up how you mingle in-game.
They’re fine-tuning stuff too – the UI, new tunes, and whoa, gamepad support is sort of happening. Early days for that, but it’s something.
Oh, almost forgot. Same day the DLC drops, inZOI hits Mac. Yep, Steam and App Store will have it.
