Sure, here we go.

So, Nintendo, right? They’re still cranking out games for the original Switch, even with all this Switch 2 buzz going around. Honestly, I didn’t expect it. The Switch has been such a hit already, with an insane library of games. Like, why stop when you’re winning, right? I mean, you’ve got Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey… the lineup is just ridiculous.
Anyway, Nintendo’s not dropping the old Switch. They’ve got stuff up their sleeves for 2025 and even 2026. Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4 are coming. Finally. I remember when Metroid Prime 4 was first mentioned back in 2017. Took them long enough, but hey, good things take time, I guess.
They’re also squeezing in Rhythm Heaven Groove and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream for 2026. Heard about those? And there’s something called Pokemon Champions, but who knows when that’ll come out. It’s like the “someday” game on their list — whenever they feel like it, I suppose.
Even with Switch 2 launching on June 5 — mark your calendars — they’re sweetening the deal with Switch 2 Editions of some games. You play on the new console, and boom, better performance and new features. Metroid Prime 4’s gonna support mouse controls. Mouse! On a Switch! This is next level.
Now, not sure if every game’s getting this special treatment — Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi might, but it’s anyone’s guess. Oh, and they’re upgrading some old favorites. Zelda and Mario, of course, because why not make something amazing even better?
Switch 1 feels like it’s here to stay for a bit, which is cool. It’s like holding onto your favorite jacket even though there’s a brand-new model in the store window. You don’t just drop a good thing that quickly, you know? Anyway — wait, what was I saying? Ah, never mind. Let’s see what Nintendo pulls off next.
