League of Legends Delays New Skins to Revamp Underwhelming Black Rose Set

Alright, so it’s update day in League of Legends—normally exciting, right? But today, something else beyond patch 25.10 snatches my curiosity. It’s about 25.11 and the twist that’s got everyone talking, or maybe just me. For the first time in who-knows-how-long, we’re not getting new skins to drool over in the PBE. It’s like Santa skipping Christmas. Apparently, Riot’s funneling all its energy into salvaging the Masque of the Black Rose skins. Gotta love a redemption arc, huh?

Early 2025 was, uh, not the best for League. High-end skins sort of flopped like a sad pancake. The Masque of the Black Rose set was part of that flop. Even though it graced the battle pass, it was meh at best—pretty splash arts though.
