Sure thing, here we go:

Alright, so let’s dive into this. Microsoft’s doing its usual shuffle with Xbox Game Pass, and it’s kinda like a farewell party for some games — they’re leaving at the end of May 2025. I mean, it’s not like they haven’t been around for a while, right? So, four games getting the boot, and uh, Firework bailing on PC Game Pass too. Wild times.
Last time they did this, it was mid-May-ish — saw some big names exit, like Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Such a classic, right? And Dune Spice Wars left, among others. It got me thinking, I barely had time to enjoy Hauntii before it was gone! Anyway, here we go again.
So, what’s on the chopping block now? Cassette Beasts is out, Humanity, Remnant 2, oh and this mouthful: Slayer X: Terminal Afterthought: Vengeance of the Slayer. What a name! And then Firework’s peaceing out too. Remnant 2’s a biggie — soulslike shooter, classes, random stuff happening. Didn’t it do well? Like, 86% on OpenCritic or something. Whoa.
List moment… um, the ones leaving by May 31, 2025:
– Cassette Beasts
– Humanity
– Remnant 2
– Slayers X: Terminal Afterthought: Vengeance of the Slayer
– Firework (PC Game Pass)
Cassette Beasts had this nice little two-year party. Feels like yesterday. Strategic stuff like Humanity and that retro fun Slayer X, they’re packing up too. People gonna miss these for sure, but hey, on to new adventures.
Speaking of which, June’s bringing some fresh blood. The Alters — sounds sci-fi-ish, with clones on some hostile planet? Kinda cool! And Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, bringing a roguelite twist around June 17. There’s FBC Firebreak, Rematch, and Against the Storm coming up too.
Messy endings and new beginnings, I guess that’s how the Game Pass wheel spins! Until next time, where something old goes away to make room for the new. Or whatever goes next. Curious if I’ll even finish The Alters before it rotates out. Who knows.
