Okay, buckle up because this is going to be a bit of a ride. I mean, I just found myself circling around this next Warframe update — like, it’s a whole thing. Maybe you heard about it at Pax East? Yeah, so they dropped the bomb about Oraxia. Spider-themed warframe — real creepy crawly vibes. Part of this Isleweaver update, which, if you ask me, sounds like something out of a fairy tale. Though, surprise surprise, still no exact date except “June.” Typical, right?
Anyway, Oraxia’s got their digs on an island in Duviri — that massive open world from 2023. Getting a facelift with this update, apparently. Sounds dramatic, but here’s the fun part: you gotta take down this spider frame for some currency mess. Why? So you can trade for the 61st warframe and their weapons. I mean, who’s counting, but wow, that’s a lot of warframes!
Honestly, the whole spider warframe thing was like a running gag for Digital Extremes. People kept asking, and they kept teasing. Finally, they’re delivering on those creepy vibes. I remember when Voruna came out — werewolf frame, whole Twilight thing. Huge hit. Then there’s Sevagoth, who is basically Casper’s edgy cousin, and Inaros? Mummy vibes. But shoutout to Limbo, the truly scary one — like, what even is he?
Now, Isleweaver is bringing a whole narrative shake-up. Major Neci Rusalka is causing chaos in Duviri. Players can finally use their own warframes and gear to bring her down this time. Finally, we don’t have to stick to the rogue-like format. Really, isn’t it about time?
Oh, and did I mention the Valkyr rework? Yeah, she’s getting a rage-fueled upgrade. Should be interesting. Entire update seems packed, honestly. Duviri always had its fans and its critics. On one hand, it’s a neat way for newbies to nab gear without backtracking – which rocks. But cutting players off from their Saryn Prime powerhouse was a buzzkill for some.
Hopefully, Isleweaver lets us unleash the arsenal we’ve been hoarding. Must we wait till June to find out? Seems like it, unfortunately. So, I dunno — you looking forward to Isleweaver and Oraxia? Hit up the comments or whatever.
