Wow, okay, where to even start with this? So, “Grit and Valor – 1949” (and, yep, it’s a 2025 game, not a typo) is diving headfirst into the VR scene soon. Like, you’ll be able to play it on Quest, PSVR 2, SteamVR – the whole VR jazz.
So it kicked off earlier this year on PC, you know, without all the VR frills. Picture commanding this elite group of teensy mechs – they’re the cutest little nightmare machines – taking on the Evil Axis, no less. Europe needs saving from this weird mechanical bunch, so who you gonna call?
Anyway, in the game, you mix and match your playstyle with different mech pilots, upgrading all the bits and bobs – cockpits, engines, whatever gizmos strike your fancy. There’s something oddly satisfying about it.
And the team behind this? Milky Tea Studios – I didn’t name ’em, just reporting – they’ve teamed up with XR veterans, nDreams. They’ve got this whole hands-on VR battlefield command thing going. It’s like being shoved right in the action, kinda makes you wonder if they threw in some VR sweat glands for realism.
So come August 21st, mark your calendars or don’t, but that’s when “Grit and Valor – 1949” hits the shelves, or screens rather. Quest 2, PS5, PSVR 2 – it’s all there. Oh, and Steam’s getting a free update, so PC VR folks aren’t left out in the cold. Can’t have that.
Now, did I miss anything? Probably. But hey, real life doesn’t come with a rewind button.
