The world’s a bizarre place sometimes, isn’t it? Hey, it’s Michael Frei here, just a guy rambling about this quirky game called “Time Flies,” and yep, I worked on it. Picture this: you’re a fly! Yeah, a buzzing little guy with wings, zipping around on your PlayStation 5 from July 31st. I know, random place to start, right? But bear with me.

Imagine this — before your tiny fly feet even take off, the game stops to check where you’re playing. Sort of like peeking over your shoulder. France? USA? Makes a difference, seriously! Switzerland says humans live 83.3 years on average, according to WHO. We took that number, shrunk it down to 83.3 seconds. Bam! That’s your fly’s lifespan in the game. USA? You’re flying for 76.4 seconds. It’s wild — harder or easier depending on where you say you’re from. Like life, I guess.

But wait, life (or should I say, fly-life) has a kicker — a bucket list. And honestly, ever tried making a to-do list as a fly? Maybe it’s weird, but the “Find God” task is my top pick. I could tell you how we made it, but I won’t spoil the fun. Let’s just say, be ready on that journey!

Once upon a time, the first idea was to make you escape hell to reach heaven. Sounds epic, right? But turns out flies don’t do multi-button combos. Who knew? They bounce and land places instead. Limited, right? But hey, limits spark creativity — or so I tell myself.

Eventually figured out a way. Only a left-right pad and one button. Sounds basic? Maybe. Maybe not. Depends on how existential you’re feeling. Look both sides — directions are relative. Left could be right, and right could… okay, I’m rambling. Maybe there’s another game hidden. Or maybe I dreamt that. Gameception!
