Man, where do I even start? There was this PS5 game everyone was losing their minds over. Was supposed to be out already, right? But, surprise surprise, it’s not. Talking about Judas, from the genius behind BioShock, you know? Ken Levine. Ghost Story Games and Take-Two Interactive have gone radio silent about the whole thing, and players are just now catching on.
Oh, speaking of which, remember when they said Judas was gonna drop by March 2025? Just poof, vanished from that timeline without a whisper. Back in February ’23, Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, was all about how this game’s been cooking since 2014. He seemed so sure when chatting with IGN. Something like, “Delays happen, but schedules are solid.” Or whatever corporate speak they use.
Then, bam, we hear GTA 6 is being pushed to May 2026. May?! So yeah, kinda overshadowed Judas in that announcement. Funny, right? I mean, the priorities are clear.
And oh boy, a year before Zelnick piped up about that 2025 date, Jason Schreier from Bloomberg dropped a bomb. He wrote how Judas was stuck in development hell. Apparently, Levine’s leading style was cooking up some real burnout vibes in the team.
Given all this drama and the fact we’ve seen nada about the game, can’t help but wonder if Judas will ever surface. Will it be one of those mythical lost games? Who knows. Makes you think, doesn’t it?
