The big Honkai: Star Rail thingy happened earlier today. Yeah, version 3.4 livestream or whatever. Seems like everyone just wanted to see the shiny new characters in this massively addictive HoYoverse game. And guess what? They showed up, all sparkly and pixelated, ready to jump into your gaming life soon enough.
Oh man, big news? Fate/stay night collab is arriving! Finally, right? This crossover between Honkai: Star Rail and that legendary fantasy novel (you know, the one that’s been around forever) that they announced back in August. Took long enough! They teased us back then, but, hey, better late than never, right? Anyway — wait, where was I? Oh yeah, almost time to dive in.

Now back to those new characters in 3.4. Fans of the Fate series, your faves are here! Saber walks in as a 5-Star Wind/Destruction — complete with her own banner for the gacha fans. Archer, a 5-Star Quantum/Hunt character, is free if you just log in. Yep, seriously. Plus, they’re sticking around longer than the usual fare, from now till around November. Sweet deal!
And hey, Phainon! Remember him? Yeah, the one you’ve been bumping into since Version 3.0. Well, guess what? Finally playable. Physical/Destruction powerhouse — adding to his fellow Chrysos Heirs’ trend. All of them, dropping in Phase 1, outside of the usual cycle. What a lineup!
And look, more rerun banners like a summer sale! Tribbie, Sunday, Sparkle return for Phase 1, then Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade show up for Phase 2. No new folks in the second half, but with this crew, it’s like a party anyway. Complaining? Nah, not today.
Stellaron Hunters getting their moment too — Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade, all tweaked with epic enhancements. A new outfit for Firefly and a power-up for Jingliu. What’s that about her joining the mercenary crew? Might not be the worst idea.
Mark the calendar, July 2nd is when 3.4 kicks off, with Phase 2 rolling out on July 23rd. Missed the livestream? Just check the VOD; it’s all there waiting for you.
Oh, remember May? 3.3 brought Hyacine and our good old chum The Herta back. Another phase, another character — enter Cipher, bringing hype and a bit of drama. Voice actor saga was quite something, right? All because of the solidarity thing with SAG-AFTRA. The twists and turns, I tell ya. Some characters like Dan Heng and Himeko are still in the mix, their fate kinda hanging in the balance.
