Wadjet Eye Games just spilled the beans, and guess what? Old Skies is dropping on the Nintendo Switch. Yeah, it’s a point-and-click kinda deal.
So, here’s the scoop: You’re Fia Quinn, and no, you don’t just time travel for kicks. You actually work for this place called the ChronoZen agency. Your gig? Babysit seven rich folks who wanna gawk at history. Some are just nosey parkers, while others, well — they’ve got loose ends they’re tying up.
I mean, can you imagine the chaos? Trying to keep them all in check, making sure history doesn’t end up like a scrambled egg. What even is the worst that can happen, right? Oh, everything.
Let me give you a taste of what the devs are boasting about this bad boy:
– Seven different times to jump into! Think Prohibition bars, or maybe some good old-fashioned gang dust-ups from the Gilded Age. Oh, and the morning of September 11th. Heavy stuff.
– The graphics? Crystal clear at 1920 x 1080. Apparently, it’s three times sharper than their Unavowed game. Tech talk, but still cool.
– Puzzles galore needing big brain temporal trickery to figure out.
– And yeah, death is on the menu. But no stress, time travel’s got your back. Dying repeatedly isn’t a deal-breaker here.
– Music vibes courtesy of Thomas Regin. If you liked the tunes in Unavowed or the Blackwell series, you’re in for a treat.
– And, full voice acting — they’ve seriously pulled together a huge cast.
Mark your calendars or scribble it on your fridge, whatever works. Old Skies hits the Nintendo eShop worldwide on May 27, 2025.
